ASD – LEGENDÄR / POPULÄR

For the track Legendär / Populär, my goal was to give every word of the powerful rap-dialogue by Afrob and Samy Deluxe a distinct image — and turn their lyrics into visual movement.

I used hyperlapse photography and match-cut editing to link shots seamlessly, creating a dynamic visual flow that mirrors the rhythm and intensity of the rap. Each word inspired a new frame and atmosphere: kinetic camera moves, bold composition and extraordinary characters that carry the songs energy.

Through careful planning and editing, the visuals follow the rap’s pace and grew into raw, untamed visuals that combine perfectionist planning with spontaneous, gritty impressions and details. A musicvideo where sound and image become one: a cinematic realization of the lyrics themselves.
