For this campaign, we didn’t just film a spot. Together with producer Oliver Krupp (mookwe GmbH) and cinematographer Jakob Süß, we followed FC St. Pauli for an entire week – through Hamburg, their training sessions, and camp – geared in their new Under Armour wear.

Instead of celebrating wins, we focused on the club’s resilience: how players face setbacks, push through failures, and fight to come back stronger. Every drill, every tough moment, and every struggle became part of the story, captured in real time with documentary-style access but framed cinematically.

I created a precise edit combining techniques from match-cuts, hyperlapses to frameline-overlaps, giving key sequences a subtle 3D effect and enhancing the sense of movement and depth. Subtle VFX were layered in to emphasize tension and grit, as well as enhancing the audience of a full stadium, all while keeping the authenticity, grit and drive that makes this club unique.
