To mark the 25 years anniversary of the band and the retrospective vibe of the song (literal translation “ONCE UPON A TIME”), we created a retro-style TV station – and called it “B24”. Every idea from show teaser to commercial break was developed by me interpreting every line of the song in close collaboration with Jan Eißfeldt (aka Eizi Eiz / Jan Delay). We cast every role with celebrities from German television history, giving the clip a nostalgic, iconic feel and revisiting countless icons from our history.
I directed the shoot and oversaw all creative elements, including on-air graphics, newsticker-humor and even motion design for our fictitious TV station. Each frame, each set, and every animated detail was carefully crafted to evoke different eras of television while keeping the humor and identity of the band.
