How do you present an exhibition that isn't built yet? For Frank Mehlin's "Wunderwelten", focusing on the famous tales of the Brothers Grimm, we decided to use silhouettes to create a world that gives an impression of the exhibition to come without the need to previsualize every detail.

To accentuate the hand-made style of classic scissor-cut silhouettes I used coal-textures and shot lots of colored fluids on paper to give every detail a natural look.
