To promote their design studio and store in Hamburg, Kingdrips and I created this little commercial. To transport the handmade style of analog artworks that characterize the studios design work, we shot most animations in camera by taking stop-motion photographies of wall paintings done by the Kingdrips. Digital postproduction was only used for four shots and to create the Look.
Matching this analog concept, hamburg-based rapper Paolo Magic composed the music by sampling different frequencies of speaker feedback.
